I've been giving Ein Brewer's Yeast with Garlic and Vitamins chewables, brand 21st Century since the beginning of September to see if it would repel fleas, and I believe it's working pretty well. I haven't seen a single flea on him. I've looked through his fur, but no signs of fleas. I'll give him his usual flea medicine, Comfortis if the Brewer's Yeast/Garlic fails. I'm just happy to be using natural remedies (it's cheaper and has vitamins too!). :)
Brewer's Yeast w/ Garlic: 1,000 chewable tablets for about $12. 2 a day = 500 days (16 1/2 months)
Comfortis: $10 chewable/month = 500 days (16 1/2 months) = $165
Savings: If I did my math correctly, I'll be saving $153!
